The celebration of Lagos at 50 will not be complete without showcasing the culture and tradition of Lagos, which is derived from the adaptation to the natural environment – the lagoons and creeks of Lagos.. This led to a very colorful parade & racing event involving boats in the lagoon. The people of Makoko, Ikorodu, Akaka etc proudly displayed their boats. Below are some pictures from the Boat Regatta.
